Coach Palmeri brings a passion for player development and a wealth of knowledge into his new role. Prior to joining AU, he served as head coach of the Chicago Cougars in USPHL Elite. He also previously served as assistant coach for the Reapers Hockey Association and for the Windy City Storm 15 and 18 U AAA teams.
Mike also brings playing experience at the ACHA Division II level, scoring nearly 200 points over 4 seasons at Robert Morris University, including a Rookie of the Year Award in 2008.
Mike is committed to building a championship culture where student-athletes can earn their degrees while competing at the ACHA Division II level. His vision is to recruit skilled, dedicated players who are eager to grow throughout their college careers, develop into strong leaders, and proudly represent Aurora University.
