Panthers Fall to Warriors in Tough Road Game

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panthers faced a tough road test on Sunday, October 3rd, falling to the Waldorf University Warriors with a final score of 6-1 at the Albert Lea City Arena in Minnesota.

Despite the Panthers managing to get one past Warriors’ goalie Treyson Boesch, the Warriors dominated the game, scoring six goals on just six shots. Panthers’ goalie Augustus Jones was unable to make a save, leaving the Panthers to battle against a relentless Warriors offense.

The Panthers’ single goal was scored by Dominick Mader, but it wasn’t enough to overcome the Warriors’ offensive onslaught. On the other side, the Warriors’ Blake Raddatz contributed one goal to his team’s victory.

Neither team managed to capitalize on their powerplay opportunities. The Panthers went 0 for 7, while the Warriors were 0 for 4.

The Panthers will look to bounce back in their next game, which is a home match against Schoolcraft College on Saturday, October 3rd at 1:00 pm CDT at the Ozaukee Ice Center. The team will surely be working on their defensive strategies and powerplay execution in the coming days to ensure a better outcome in their next encounter.
