Havoc Outshot in 11-3 Loss to Mustangs

In a challenging match at the Stavely Arena, the Hanna Havoc found themselves outgunned by the Southern Alberta Mustangs, who emerged victorious with an 11-3 win. The game, completed on March 15, saw the Havoc’s defense unable to withstand the relentless onslaught of the Mustangs’ offense.

The Havoc managed to put up 37 shots in the game, but the Mustangs outdid them with a total of 51 shots. Despite the Havoc’s best efforts, their powerplay was unsuccessful, going 0 for 3. The Mustangs, on the other hand, capitalized on one of their four powerplay opportunities.

In the net, Havoc’s goalie Luca Bagnoli faced an onslaught of shots, facing 51 and making 22 saves. On the other side of the ice, Mustangs’ Sawyer Mitchell had a comparatively quieter night, facing 37 shots and making 34 saves.

Havoc’s #10 Corwin Simmons was a bright spot in the game, managing to put two goals past Mitchell. However, the Mustangs’ #91 Teigen Liebelt had a standout performance, assisting on five of the Mustangs’ eleven goals.

The Havoc will be looking to regroup and come back stronger in their next game, which is an away game against Three Hills on Friday, March 20 at 7:00pm at the Centennial Place Arena. Fans will be hoping for a stronger performance and a more favorable result.
